The Summit County Historical Society of Akron, OH, invites you to visit the Perkins Stone Mansion, home of Akron and Summit County’s founding family, and John Brown House, Summit County’s most consequential resident and the abolitionist that sparked the American Civil War. See sheep and Shepherdess Edie Steiner, her border collies Rudy, Luke, Lincoln & Owen, and their working dog friends Dyna & Brooklyn on Mutton Hill this summer and Farm Fridays are free for preschool-6th grade. Tour highlights: quilts in the spring, paranormal and true crime for fall and holiday decorations in the winter.
