Thursday April 11, 2024

1:00-3:00pm

Meeting Room at the CCPL Independence Public Library

6361 Selig Dr. Independence OH 44131

Public speaking isn’t easy for everyone. In fact, most people avoid it at all costs – but you don’t need to! This seminar will help you comfortably prepare a program that you can take to other local groups to share the highlights of your museum.

You’ll even learn that you can use this amazing marketing technique without speaking in front of a group. Honest!

There are quite a few community groups anxious to find speakers for their guests. That speaker can be you! At no charge to your museum’s budget, you can attend those group’s meetings and share all the great reasons why people will want to come to your facility – and bring their friends and family.

Join us and you’ll walk away an expert at public speaking – ok, maybe not, but you’ll certainly leave with a variety of tips to share your collections and a virtual tour with anyone and everyone!

Selig Dr. is off Rt. 21 about 1 mile south of the intersection of Rte. 21 and Rockside Rd. The Meeting Room is on the ground floor to the left upon entering.

Coffee and bakery will be provided.

Class size is limited to 30 people. Please register by April 4th $10/pp
