Oviatt House, built in 1836, is on the National Park Service's Network to Freedom due to Mason and Fanny Oviatt's abolitionist activities. Located in Richfield Heritage Preserve, the historic Oviatt House is undergoing restoration. Once restored, the house will be used as an educational museum to honor its significant ties to the Underground Railroad, preserve the pioneer spirit of the Western Reserve, and inspire the community and future generations to celebrate the freedom it represents.
