James A. Garfield Birth Site Park-Here at the birthplace of President Garfield what images sweep over us when we recall the scenes of his birth and boyhood. Visit the replica log cabin erected using the late President's diary as a reference. A short walk through the woods takes you to the original site where a farmer’s son began his noble history.
