The 1847 Bennett VanCuren historic house offers a glimpse of what it looked like in the past from 1805-1930. Rooms include a one room schoolhouse, print shop, tool room, 1805 log cabin, dining, living, and bedroom, nursery/toy and bedroom, 1930's kitchen, hearse room, research library and quilting room. Each room displays artifacts from these eras. Our monthly meetings with speakers are held the second Wed. of the month, 7 pm at 6621 Wilson Mills Rd. All welcome, bring a friend. Refreshments served. Membership runs Jan-Dec dues $15 Individual, $25 Family, $50 Contributing, $500 Lifetime.
