Rooted in Jewish heritage, the Maltz Museum promotes cross-cultural dialogue and an appreciation for the diversity of the human experience. The Museum features two core exhibitions. ‘‘An American Story,” chronicles the Jewish immigrant experience, challenges newcomers face seeking opportunity in America, development of Cleveland, the Civil Rights Movement, and the Holocaust. The strikingly beautiful artifacts showcased in “The Temple-Tifereth Israel Gallery” embody Jewish tradition and ritual while highlighting links with other faiths. Special exhibitions are shown throughout the year.
