Painesville Township Park features a community center, a lakefront trail and an accessible pier. An ADA-accessible walkway and stairs lead down to the pier, which extends 200 feet into the water. The pier is a great place to marvel at stunning views of the lake and the setting sun and also provides excellent fishing access to smallmouth bass, perch, walleye and steelhead trout. A new ADA-accessible trail extending west from Painesville Township Park along the lakefront is in the works. This trail will eventually connect Painesville Township Park to Fairport Harbor along the Lake Erie shore.
