This National Historic Registry site was the home of Dr. Robert S. when he met with Bill W. from NYC to found Alcoholics Anonymous in 1935. Bill stayed there as a guest for several months. Dr. Bob treated an estimated 5,000 alcoholics, more than a few of them in this home. The house has been largely restored to its 1935 status including much of the original furniture. Its two neighbor houses contain an archives and gift shop.
