The main building contains 11 rooms of furniture and artifacts, including World War I displays and extensive school history from the area once called Brooklyn Township. Quilting and two harness loom weaving demonstrations are ongoing. Herb and perennial gardens and a gift shop are also on site.

Elvis performed at Brooklyn High School in October of 1955, first time north of the Mason-Dixon Line.
