The Bay Village Historical Society maintains the Rose Hill Museum, the Osborn Learning Center, and the Cahoon memorial log cabin. The Rose Hill Museum is the Cahoon family homestead, built in 1818. It houses an extensive collection of heirlooms and local history. The Osborn Learning Center, dating from 1814, is the oldest frame structure between Cleveland and Lorain. It houses a huge collection of documents and much material from the Sam Sheppard case. The Cahoon memorial log cabin is a replica of the cabin built by the Cahoon family when they arrived in the area in 1810.
