The Western Reserve Railroad Association (dba the Painesville Railroad Museum) is dedicated to the restoration of the NYC Painesville Depot, preserving railroad history and promoting model railroading. It is now the home to the Collinwood "999" Engine and tender (built 1933) in a new Engine Barn also the home of an 1860's horse-drawn trolley. The museum property is also home to a beautifully restored caboose car and a box car.
